First stop Dallas Restaurant and Bar @Boat Quay  while waiting for our scrumptious meal snap  snap snap  and more snap  me n my fav guyhehee..didn't take the opp side of the table coz Finally, our food as arrived..  We order 2 Dallas PlatterA combination of wings, chix n cheese quesedillas and breaded mushroom w cheese i enjoyed this platter, especially the mushroom how they manage to make them so juicy??   Salt and Pepper Calamarinothing special too much flour no salt or pepper taste  Chargrilled Ribeye with Fried Egg, Fries and Salad Baby Back RibsLee had this and everyone pinched some from him leaving him with a tiny portion best ribs i had so far personally, i think its betta than Tony Romas  Tenderloin with Shitake Mushroom Sauceenormous piece of meat D had a even bigger piece i feel that they could be more generous with the vege though maybe they overly budgeted for the steak hence,that explained the teeny weeny portion of vege Overall: i feel that its a cosy restaurant for gatherings imagine we had only 4 groups of diners at the entire 2nd level level 3 is for private functions food is reasonably good but....there is always a "but" kindof under staffed we waited 10mins for our steak knives by the time the knives arrived, our steak turned cold Labels: Food |

One lazy, sunday afternoon S and me, finally make our trip down to Laurent Bernard Chocolatier @ Wessex Village, Portsdown Road   was once told that no photography allowed in the cafe so we didn't take any pics when we were inside until later another table of patrons came in, was busy snapping away grr...but we have already finished our desserts, well, there is always the next time the cafe adopts a very cottage-like feel it reminded us so much of Chocolate Cottage  gaaa..i missed the good old days anyway, we had: Valrhona warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream Chocolate tart both, delicious plus the vanilla ice cream what can i say, my "TYPE" of vanilla ice cream made with real vanilla beans slurp!! If anyone ask me which is my favourite desserts hangout, then it will definitely be Laurent Bernard Chocolatier Labels: Food |
